Pellet grills are becoming increasingly popular because of their ability to provide a consistent heat for cooking. This makes them perfect for smoking meats and other dishes. If you’re looking to add a pellet grill to your cooking arsenal, here are a few recipes that will help you get started.

Honey BBQ Chicken Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Directions

  1. Preheat your pellet grill to 350°F.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together honey, ketchup, apple cider vinegar, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder and black pepper.
  3. Place chicken thighs in a large resealable bag and pour the honey BBQ sauce mixture over top. Seal the bag and massage the chicken to coat evenly.
  4. Grill for 25-30 minutes, flipping once, or until cooked through.
  5. Serve immediately. Enjoy!

Grilled Pork Loin with Peach Barbecue Sauce Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 pork loin, trimmed
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup peach barbecue sauce

Directions

  1. Preheat your pellet grill to 350°F.
  2. In a small bowl, combine the olive oil, salt, and pepper. Rub the mixture all over the pork loin.
  3. Grill the pork loin for about 25 minutes, or until it reaches an internal temperature of 145°F.
  4. Brush the barbecue sauce on top of the pork and continue grilling for another 5-10 minutes, or until the sauce is caramelized.

Grilled Chicken with Strawberry Salsa Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup strawberry salsa

Directions

  1. Preheat your pellet grill to 350°F.
  2. In a small bowl, combine the olive oil, salt, and pepper. Rub the mixture all over the chicken breasts.
  3. Grill the chicken breasts for about 25 minutes, or until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F.
  4. Serve with a dollop of strawberry salsa on top.

Grilled Vegetables with Chimichurri Sauce Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 zucchini, sliced into thin strips
  • 1 summer squash, sliced into thin strips
  • 1 red onion, cut into wedges
  • 1 red bell pepper, cut into thin strips
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons chimichurri sauce

Directions

  1. Preheat your pellet grill to 350°F.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the zucchini, squash, red onion, bell pepper, olive oil, and chimichurri sauce. Toss to coat.
  3. Grill for 10-15 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender. Serve with the remaining chimichurri sauce on the side.

Grilled Salmon with Lemon Butter Sauce Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 salmon filet, skin removed
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup lemon butter sauce

Directions

  1. Preheat your pellet grill to 350°F.
  2. In a small bowl, combine the olive oil, salt, and pepper. Rub the mixture all over the salmon filet.
  3. Grill for about 20 minutes, or until it reaches an internal temperature of 145°F.
  4. Serve with a dollop of lemon butter sauce on top.
